There are 10 major steps that CIC are committed to during the delivery, installation, commissioning and training phase of your Key Management System. They include:
1. Order Received
Once the project is initiated a Contract Manager will be allocated. For larger works a project plan can be delivered after discussion with the client to ensure a seamless process.
2. Assembly
The CIC production team will begin assemble of the cabinets.
3. Quality Assurance
Units are fully tested after assembly to ensure a high level of quality is maintained.
4. Hardware installation
CIC have the capability to install one cabinet or project manage multiple cabinets, on multiple sites, worldwide. Projects of a larger magnitude are co-ordinated by CIC, with installation of the systems completed in a staggered approach. This allows the system administrators to bring a small number of panels online at a time so that the work load of programming is spread out
5. Software Installation
Software installation will require the presence of a network administrator. Access to a central server will be required along with an IP address for each of the units.
6. Communication testing
This activity consists of ensuring that all clients PCs can communicate with all the cabinets. A full range of documentation is provided at the conclusion of the installation program. This documentation includes:
- Software operation manuals;
- Hardware management manuals;
- Warranty provisions (including extended warranty options); and
- Maintenance schedules.
7. Training
Training will take approximately 3 hour per session. Each operator will need to be trained and it is suggested that this be done in groups of no more than five. There are no special requirements for training as it will all be conducted live on administrator PCs. The product roadmap is also supported by a comprehensive and thoroughly documented training package, which is delivered through dedicated Client Account Managers. The training package addresses software training, installation and after-sales service.
8. Clean up
This phase will be completed after each system has been installed.
9. Final testing and sign off
This phase confirms that all systems are running to specification and ensures that all operators are satisfied with the final product.
